Personal Travel Stories

A great way to learn about Auroville is through the stories of other travelers. We encourage you to read the stories below before traveling to Auroville, and to let others know about your experiences in Auroville - Just send us your story by email so that we can consider placing it here *. We highly encourage illustrating your story with a few of your own photographs.

We have also created a Discussion Board for you to ask questions of other travelers and to share your stories on. Note that the discussion boards take a moment to load.

Stories

Radical Women, Marvelous Men: Julian Lines, an AVIUSA board member recounts his experiences during his trip to Auroville in 2001. This story also apeared in the Summer 2001 edition of AVIUSA's Evolve Newsletter.
