An Auroville Weekend" on April 12th - 13th. Guests will include Julian and Wendy Lines, from Matagiri and Rosine Debode, from SASP (Lodi Ashram). Video screenings, talks and Powerpoint presentations will spark discussions and informal sharing.

The Geo Communities Semester aims to train
leaders for the 21st century. Studying sustainable living
practices at Auroville and other ecovillages in southern
India, students gain the theoretical knowledge and specific
tools and applications to ask reflective questions that
guide their inquiry to address the myriad issues that
face humanity. |

various sub-communities and projects. You will have the

the embodiment of spiritual practice through Karma Yoga
in the Community. You will meet Aurovilians from many

Pandey for 6 weeks in Auroville and southern India.
This field trip will consist of 4 weeks doing a course
on Integral Yoga in Auroville, and then 2 weeks of
travel around southern India. You can even get independent
study credit through UCSC in the Fall quarter if you
need it.

The last Auro-Family get-together in September was

2004). An unexpected downpour of rain created
an opportunity for the Auroville/Ashram communities
here to have an inspiring conversation about our differences
and sameness on a deeper level than we have had before,
laying a groundwork for future collaborations and
programs. |

AVIUSA has decided to hold annual regional reunions
for the AuroFamily in the USA. The first of these
will be in Lodi, CA on June 5th and 6th, 2004. Later
this year another will be held on the East Coast.
We'll post more information here as the gathering
takes shape. In the meantime, check out the the
invitation postcard we just sent out. |

The AVI Board, Centers, Liaisons, Aurovilians
and friends of Auroville meet annually to discuss current
events and trends in Auroville and how to interface
in timely manner with the community. The AVI Board members
also conduct their internal meeting during this time.
These annual meetings are hosted by a different center
each year, and are open to anyone who has an active
interest in Auroville. |
