Auroville International 2002 Conference

Weather and Clothing

When:
Friday July 19th - Wednesday July 24th

Where:

Sequoia Seminar, near Santa Cruz, California, USA

Weather for Ben Lomond:

The current weather and July's general statistics are available at Weather.com (note the temperature conversion calculator too). In general, July temperatures are around 64F, or 18C with hardly any rain (about 0.2", or 0.5cm of rain for the whole month). The days are warm, and the nights are quite cool.

Clothing:

It is warm in the day and cool at night. You could bring shorts, but expect it to get cold enough for long pants at night. You may sweat while hiking the trails between your cabin and the meeting hall, so bring layers of clothing that you can easily take on and off. The breaks will not be long enough to go back to the cabins, so you should have a bag/backpack that you can carry stuff around in, including your flashlight - the trails are dark at night.

You may want to bring a hat for the excursions, especially if going on the hike. Sunscreen is advisable, and bring a swim suit if you want to swim in the cold ocean during your excursion.
